Once there is a will, it’s remarkable how easy the “way” becomes. This project will add 2.5 miles of protected bike lanes and will take a single week to construct. The hard part of building safer streets is not the engineering.2
It's crazy that Ted's Bulletin is opening in a brand new apartment building in NoMa where instead of street parking there's a years-old two-way cycletrack directly in front of their entrance. Don't they know bike lanes kill business????? I give it 6 months before it goes under 🚳
A better headline might have been "Bike Lanes Can Make Roads Safer For All Road Users"
A weekly dose of #BikeBus medicine is good for the soul. Start a bike bus where you are, show the demand, build community, campaign for safer streets for kids and enjoy the ride! #bicibus #PowerOfTheBike
